Hageunau Visit

We visited Hageunau over the last few days... it took 7 hours to get there, with a few baby stops on the way... (normally it should take 4.5 hours).
The weather was hot at the start and then over the days it got a bit cooler.

The architecture in the centre is lovely and interesting. The outer areas are ordinary, normal for a town. It look like it has everything we need.

We visited four houses and it looks like we got the four bedroom place. It is 'pink' and about one and a half kilometres from the town centre. It is right near the hospital and it should take Yves about 10 minutes maximum to get to work.

In the town there are many shops, including two ice cream shops and an art shop, (so I am happy). There is also a big shopping centre three minutes from the centre which is right next door to where Yves will be working. (good for Yves and good or bad for me, depending on your point of view).

The shops in Hageunau close for lunch between 12.00 and 2.00pm, so I guess you have to be organised. If you are desperate Strasbourg is 20 minutes drive away. They have the same shops as Paris so there isn't a real problem.

On the way back it took 5 hours to get back, although the baby cried for the last 15 minutes, which was torture.... he was hungry. After a fed he was good a gold and had forgotten his distress.
A new adventure begin soon, we'll move in July.
