Our balcony

We have a long skinny balcony, Alex loves to ride his bike and car. It's about 30 metres long... but there are parts where there is a step and easy for Alex to climb over, so I watch him carefully.

Alex likes..

Alex adores cars, trucks, motorbikes and any excavation equipment.

Metz continued...

It's actually a really pretty city, we live not far so it's easy to get there.

On a Sunday there aren't many people and it's a good chance to window shop.

Note, in the cathedral, is the Chagall window, there are three of them. Of course, they are very beautiful.

Can't get enough of the beautiful sunsets, the camera can't capture all of the colours.

We went to the city on Sunday to look at a flea market and then had a walk about.

Yves' birthday

Another year rolls by...

Hot Air Balloons

Tonight Yves heard some noise and thought it was the trains near by... but he looked up and saw hot air balloons going over our appartment. Alex was very excited and was almost screaming about them... it was beautiful to see...

Fire Brigade In Montigny-les-Metz

Just one minute away next door, in the grounds of the chateau they had a celebration for the local fire brigade.... Alex liked the car crash, but was too scared to go in the trucks.

Max is big on smiles...it's beautiful. He's also going to be a giant, as he is wearing 6 month sized clothes already... at 3 months. He is 65 cm tall and is 6.5 kilos. Which is the same height & weight Alex was at 6 months... On the 27th of August he started the giggles too!

Picnic at the canal

Sunday for dinner we had a picnic by the canal, it's just at the end of the street.
